Preparing SOPs for Contracting & Procurement

Scope of work

As one of the largest NYC mayoral agencies with a budget of almost $7 billion in 2006, the Human Resources Administration’s Office of Contracts & Procurement typically manages over 1,000 contracts with hundreds more added each year.

The high volume of procurement actions and public dollars necessitates the use of clear standards and detailed instructions for staff to reference in their daily work. We were hired to research and prepare over 50 standard operating procedures to address every type of contracting and procurement action governed by current rules and regulations.
